Mother Natures Fury

Mother natures fury
can be seen in my eyes.
I can taste her essence in the air.
She moves through my veins.
Speaks through my soul.

She knows of all the demise,
The wretched wrongs
we’ve all devised.
She is aware of everything
That has been destroyed.

She is seeking payment,
Yet we are all blind.
Cant you see the beginning,
Of the end of our lives.?

The sea is engulfing the land,
Taking what is pleases.
The land is devouring the cities,
In penalty for our treasons.

We are the ones who have done this,
We alone can set it right.
She isn’t the forgiving kind,
But we have to stand and fight.

In unity we strive.
In unity we can survive.
But how can the ungrateful ever unite.
Too many differences to put aside.

The sad part is,
we were given a chance.
Yet no one can commit.
So, when the time comes,
Not even the innocent can run.
