Here today I stand before these coppice gates.
upon them is written an Inscription only the one in mine eyes shines could divine.
Guarded dear are those Gates,
by Walls sheer of a Betrayer's Fate,
Encircling all that two Lover's Make.
Ne'er thus far have I seeked the Key,
But in this magic moment I will hand it to She.
Mine Fairest of Ladies.
I approach her lovely shade,
With nary a twitch nor a sound.
The moonlit night shone across the crystal glade,
Not even my past could have drug mine feet to the ground.
With a flourish silent I take her majestic hand,
with every wish of a rescue from mine own tortuous land,
And if then no words do cross her lips, I swear to whomever she be, her lips I will kiss.
So may this enchantment may pose as such a barred door or disguise,
To ward those unworthy of such a Surprise,
But to open for only the one who may open her eyes.
