Relief

  Tense twitching muscles loosened. Ragged breath, slowed. The pulsing blood rushing through narrow veins began to ebb. Tightly shut eyes relaxed.
  The broken cold heart once in pieces, now warmed and melted. It melded together like pieces of broken glass fired to fuse a whole, inseparable form. Fulfillment. 
  Mind cleared. Light overtook darkness. The fog of despair lifted to reveal the new order. Hope.
  Strong arms engulfed her. His love and protection surrounded. Finally pure love had found her. Her heart rested. Peace.
