The Shooting Star

Up in the sky
there are billions upon billions
of little stars.
The gleem and they shine,
But some never seem to fly.

There are few,
that fly across the heavens.
The go from galaxy to galxy
seeing things
as the older they grew.

But there is one
That never dies.
It shoots to our hearts
and our souls and our minds,
That they never become undone.

The star shines so bright
that we have to shield our eyes.
The whitened light
seems to grow
each and every night.

There are many stars
out in the world.
Some we can't touch or hold,
Shining here and shining there.
Shooting here and shooting far.
