Cheating Iliterates : A Big Problem for an uneducated person.
                                        Why, Why Illiterates have to suffer?

Son: Oh! Dad Why, tell me why? There is the need to study? I don’t like to study.

Just cut it!

Father: Oh! My poor son, Getting some knowledge and some useful things from books only will make you stand in a future. That is all Education and study is appropriate for you. So try, to do friendship with books.

Son: Whatever dad! I don’t wanna interested in studies. This Education, knowledge, skills all are rubbish.

Father: My son, Don’t know that For you only Study is the most important thing in your life.

Remember one thing: “The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet”.

So, always work hard.

Son: whatever!

Father: Watching this program might your mind towards study would change.

So have a look, it’s an interesting and knowledgeful for u.

Son: Ya Dad! That thing I would like to see.

[Son is just changing the channels, stops at one, and start watching it, keenly

Scene: Television Programme – National DD channel- A conversation between a shopkeeper and an illiterate person is going on.]

Shopkeeper: What do you need, sir”?

Consumer [ An illiterate man/village person] : Can I have some rice from your shop?

Shopkeeper: Yes, sir we have varieties of rice.  Which you want to prefer?

Consumer: What do you mean by varieties of Rice?” RICE  IS  RICE  NA.”

Shopkeeper: Sorry sir, I mean to say that we have very good quality of rice here.

So, tell me how much u want?

Consumer: Not much but ammmm mm 10 kg, I think, ya 10 kg

Give me 10 kg rice; perhaps will be enough for me and my family approx. 3 months.

then how much you will cost it???”””

[Shopkeeper thinking: Right time to cheat him]

Shopkeeper: OH! Don’t worry sir. It’s not tooo much.

Aannnnn! 1 rupee for each kg/rice, means total Rs. For 10 kg will cost you

Only 50 Rs. Sir.

Consumer: But how can it be 50 Rs.? I think it should be less than 50 Rs.

Shopkeeper: I can explain you sir.

But before, first tell me the answer of this question:

If        1 = 05

            2 = 10

            3 = 15

            4 = 20

Then,  5 = ?? to what???”””

Consumer: It’s simple I think it should be 25.

Shopkeeper: No sir, The answer is 1

See the first line, sir

It is 1 = 5 means same

      5 = 1

So, now u can easily understand the situation,

Like this, If 1 = 05

        Then 10 = 50 [Rs.]

Consumer: Ya I got it!

Now I came to know how much exactly should I have to pay???”””

Thanks! Now take your full money; Here it is, your 50 Rs.

Thankyou again! You are such an honest shopkeeper and a well explainer too.

Son [cried] : Have you seen dad? Have you seen? How an Illeterate was being cheated by a shopkeeper due to being Illeterate.

Father: Yes dear! Now you came to know the importance of education and being literate.

In today’s world! He was just cheated not just because of his Illeteracy but the absence of mind also. He even didn’t able to calculate.

It is a thousand times better to have common sense without education than to have education without common sense.

He did not receive any type of education – no books, no knowledge- thus, only a liability for this earth.

Son: yes, Father, Now I really got it, the importance of being literate, because without education we are just a burden on this earth.””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””,.

[Hurriedly rush towards his books, and start studying.]
