Rosabelle's First Train Ride

Rosabelle still could not believe what this last year had brought her. It had all started last Halloween; with her friend Lee bring her what she thought to be a cupcake. Her father a week later after she turned back, that it was in fact a wizard’s prank called a Canary Cream. It was that same day she had been told that she would see the Lupins in September. They still had secrets they are keeping from me. Like who the Lupins are and why my mother cries when she says their name?  Rosa thought. But I will honor my promise to father. I will give them a chance. He had asked her to give them a chance and to try to do her best at this new school. Rosa who always wanted to please her family said that she would.
She had been brought to the train by her mother’s parents. Remembering back, Mom could not even look at me before I left. I should have never gotten that letter. I have dishonored my family.

As she was looking for a compartment to sit in; she thought remembering back to the prank, if I see Lee; I will pay him back for turning me into a bird for a week. What a way to tell your best friend that you’re a wizard?

As she looked in one of the compartment door’s window, Rosa saw a older girl sitting all alone. Not wanting to bother the girl, she tried to quietly open the door.
