A poem about perspective.
Life is a series of rude awakenings
Reality is not always kind
But tomorrow is still worth living
And yesterday - well it's already behind
I don't believe in mistakes
Rare miracles keep me going
The best part of my future
Is simply not knowing...
I have hit rock bottom
A blessing in disguise
I can't get any lower than where I am
But that sky is pretty high
