End of the World?

How can we know when the world will end? Sure, we can know whats happening to



when it comes to climate changes and such but how can anyone really think they know



when the end is? They say the Mayan calender ends at 2012 but how do we know



that's our 2012...wasn't their calender different from ours? When did we start the



calender we know today...our months are named after kings of the old so...how? How



can we know for certain? And maybe the Mayans didn't mean to finish it in 2012.



Their civilazation didn't even start til 2000 BC, so when you really think about it



they had to write a calender with over 4000 years on stone. That would take an



awfully long time. Their civilization ended in 250 AD so why on earth would the



randomly pick 2012 as the end of the world. If they could really predict when the



world was going to end, wouldn't they be able to predict when THEY would end. In all



I guess I'm trying to say that I thionk it's a loud of bullshit and even if the world



does end in 2012, I do not want to sit here and worry about it, life is for living not



worrying about how you'll die.
