Ode

Deep like the bluest oceanic waters

more beautiful than the ambient blues and purples of a ....California.... sunset

She makes my heart dance like a rhythmic drum

The way I feel inside is unlike anything I’ve experienced before

She brings parts of my soul to life that I just didn’t think would ever feel again. 

She feels like my match in every way…



Afraid of what things are to come…

and what things may already be…



Afraid of the shading willow tree that might cast its ominous shadow upon our happy place…

Terrified at losing this beautiful butterfly to a tornadic uncontrollable wind

Yet, in the chaos of the night...

hope still precludes the end of time...the end of greatness...the end of this deep well of feelings that I carry within me.



My sincerest hope is that this beautiful whirlwind will see the horizon at the end of this rainbow

I wished upon a golden star that she would see and feel the same as me

I close my eyes and pray for the confusion and eroded feelings to cease and quickly fade away.



She is my match in every way....
