Not Alone

Walking down a street

I'm all alone and no one can

hear me. I make another turn

further away from people I love.



I don't think anyone can hear

me because I have traveled so far.

I continue walking another

turn is in front of me but instead

I stop.



There is a man he is carrying

something,

I decide to blink to figure out

if I am dreaming. To my shock

he is still there and he holds out

a Bible to me.



I begin to read and remember

I was never truly alone.

God was with me every step I

made. Then I think what was

I running from. Maybe it was

God maybe I thought he left

me and then I realize I turned

from him.



I continue walking down the

street but this time I know I

am not alone God has always

been there for me.
