What Do You See? Contest Entry. Interpret Colored Inkblot.
I see the imaging science has made;
I see the camera through my body wade;.
I see the tube my body goes in;
I see me come out with relief and Amen..

What do I see?
I don’t know why,
It looks like a slice of my MRI, and
I see my spine and my ribs nearby.

It’s not my skull
Or down at the feet;
It’s part of the backbone,
Where my vertebrae meet.

The bright pink is muscles
Lean and strong;
The green must be emeralds
Singing my song.

I see the human anatomy;
I see the body God gave to me;
I see the cord going up to my brain;
I see the nerves that inscribe my pain.

The yellow is tissues, fatty and non;
The space in between is fat that is gone.
I see gray bones with calcium galore.
I see little glands that make hormones pour.

I see the blue, that’s part of my blood,
I see I was made from spit and mud..
I see the colors as part of me,
I am my Creator’s fantasy.

I see the aurora borealis;
I see the Looking Glass and Alice.
I see the oceans Columbus sailed
I see the cross where Jesus was nailed.

I see a sunset so perfect in flame;
I see a rainbow with hues I can name.
I see myself, my body, my soul;
I see that my God has made me whole.

Do you see my ears, my nose and my eyes?
Do you see my angels in heavenly skies?
Do you see the awe and joy and wonder?
Do you hear God speak in magnificent thunder?
