Greek words I put into a poem
YASOO
November 2010

"Yasoo", I said hello in Greek,
Then "yasoo", again, to say goodbye.
"Kalo apoyevma" means good afternoon
To lunch topped off with apple pie.
At night, it was "kaleeneehta";
A fond farewell to mackerel sky.
When evening fell, "kaleespera",
And "efchareesto" to God on high.
