One of my most recent poems about my struggle with PND.
This morning I saw the sky tinged pink in a dawn glow,

The sun blazed over the hills and battled with the frost,

Feeling numb but not from the cold,

I turned up the volume to drown out the noise,

And thought how beautiful it all seems,

When you're the only one awake,

I could have kept driving, how easy it would have been,

To keep going and never look back,

Instead I will just stay here,

And tread the waters.
