My unusual relationship with death and what it leads me to believe about life.
Death, my friend, I look forward to the day we shall meet. Your existence adorns you with infamous names, but they are beautiful. An effortless companion, leading me away from life’s compelled relationship of strife and distaste. In a world of variables, I depend upon your constancy. My guardian, watching, listening; providing me with peace of mind, the calm of the storm - still and whole. You wait readily beyond blurred edges. The only one with the ability to tear down this wall of illusion that keeps me trapped. Your melancholy lingers near the living, and sings for the dead. Some choose to ignore your omnipresence. I stand exempt, sharing your sorrow as you reach for me, every second deepening our deviant relationship. What is life without you? Giver of Direction, Wise Maker of Maps, when will I find you? We are enclosed together, but I can feel your distance. Do not be afraid, lean close. Discover me the way I want to discover you. Lead me in to uncharted realms. Carry me through the purest black as we venture to the depths of your soul. Let the essence of your mystery be revealed to me. I will keep your secrets, just as you have kept mine. In this music box I am trapped, it is a magnificent box. Mysterious and vast, it is filled with scenic scapes and life abounding. I yearn to hear the sweet song that it will play. I redundantly throw myself against this harsh reality. My result is a mad insanity that slowly infects every inch, of my mind. I am left with a feeble body, no longer able to push against this locked door. You are the key, able to set me free. Open the latch and let beautiful music fall upon eager ears. Death, I shall not forget you and all your glory. Save my life, enlighten me of this body. Let us meet face to face, a death from your eloquent grace.
