The Ocean of Saddness

Sadness is like an ocean

Waves, undertow and cold

It tries to drag you under,

To pull to pull you into a different world,

Where love and happiness,

Are things of fairytale and myth

And doesn't exist in this new world.

The further out you drift in this sea,

The harder it is to try and come back,

You can sea the golden beaches of happiness,

You can see the paople laughing,

You wish you were one of those people,

But the current is pulling you back harder now,

It enjoys seeing you hurt, and in pain

It doesn't want you to leave it's world

You fight against it,

You try, and try

No one on that beach can see you

They don't understand what your feeling

You keep hoping someone will throw you a life preserver and rescue you,

But when they do its just out of reach

And you are pulled back so you can't get it

So your stuck fighting, and crying

In this new world

Just remember to keep fighting the current
