Feeling lonely during my first chemotherapy appointment.
                                                        My chemo day

Finally, my first chemotherapy day
In a room with patients older than me
I feel uneasy; everybody looks at me,
I must confess I feel lonely
Everybody has a partner close for support
I don’t – Oh God what luck I have!

Always alone is this what you intended for me?
No matter what I deserve or want
Is this your vision of my future life?
I wonder, at times what will happen to me
When will I be by your side?

I wonder what kind of love I need to have
I wonder what kind of love you want me to give
I wish you could see and feel my heart
You will know how much I feel for you
Why, why don’t you love me the way I do
What would it take to prove to you?
How much love I have for you

Please father, see me and love me like you do others
Bless me with your touch so I can be heal by your grace
Please, show me the way to forgiveness
And I will be waiting for you.
