I was diagnosed with cancer of small intestine and receiving chemotherapy.
Faces of Cancer
By Loretta Magee

Day by Day I wonder
How my life is going to be
How would I feel?
Who would I have next to me?

Cancer is ugly
Family leaves you alone
Friends disappear
Love breaks your heart
What would I do next? I wonder

Then chemo began to cripple me down
Less people you see
My hair started falling down
And everybody left me down

Why in the world….
People tells me I love you
And try to fate it
Is not easy to face it
Why in the hell I had to go thru this
And most of all

To know that in the worst moments
You are not here with me
My hair is all gone
I am not pretty any more
Who cares cancer came and took it all
And you are gone too!
And like always I am here alone.
