a poem i wrote. not much more to say bout it
Thud, thud,
my heart beats away.
As it does, i choke
my face does not strain.
Who are we to choose
how our hearts beat?

if it were a power,
good or bad,
i'd been happier.
But the moon to its tide,
is the air of your being.

Neither warm nor cold,
you strive to remain perfect.
Under your shadow,
I melt and freeze.

In the picture i painted,
the heart was always honest.
But in its loyalty,
it tore, and
the colors wandered.

The diety enshrined is no worthy power,
It is neither the resonant tune of harmony,
nor the malice of pessimissm.
The harm you've done isn't mine to judge.
to me,
u are neither good nor bad.
