Don't you just hate it when people try to run your life?
I'm searching for the real me
Looking like never before
Stop trying to say
I'm going to change
I won't stay the same
They tell me the best way
Is to forget everything
But by doing that
I forgot who I was
I'm so tired of being
Told who to be
Why can't you just leave and
Let me be me?
