Jenny and Daniel have some decisions to make
Her brain was stuck in survival mode just like Daniel's. Jenny promised to stand by him but his confusion is worse than she had once imagined. One thing Daniel knew all to well was that he was either stuck in his ways once his mind was made up or undecided and dangerous. Splinters of all the memories traveled through his mind. On good days these splinters were like a kaleidoscope making beautiful reflections from memories of hues. On bad days these splinters could become in an instant like fractured glass or fractured images of self.

Daniel wondered why she had let herself go this far. He knew there was a point in which the body returned but the mind didn't.
The people that truly understood usually had some first hand experience. Daniel used to calm her but now when they weren't weary of others they were weary of themselves or each other. Slow down you mind Daniel stop processing. Shut it out, the voices, the memories, the cravings, the impulses shut them all out. That is what Daniel's school teacher used to tell him when he was having a panic attic.

Jenny loved life although some wouldn't notice right away because she was always sleeping. Jenny had not seen Daniel in at least two weeks. They used to meet in the mornings for tea before school. Jenny would always order the same tea, while Danny as she fondly called him liked to try a new flavor each week. This morning was wet, the rain left memories of last nights visit. "I must have slept hard, I didn't hear a thing last night." Jenny thought amused by the huge puddles just outside the door step. Rushing out to catch the bus to the tea house on her way to school made her stomach turn. Jenny hated being rushed, it didn't give her time to look around and survey her surroundings.

Once she reached the tea house, which was just blocks from her school, she begin to relax. The kids she went to school with seemed weird to her, so she usually did not speak to them. On her home planet she was as normal as the rest but here she was an outsider. She was from manasseha, it was a small planet just outside of the current solar system. She missed home, everything was different here. The smells the language, the food, the people. Daniel was the only other subject she had met with a planet system similar to hers. Only his planet had two moons and three suns. She could only imagine what days were like where he was from. There were other planets that Daniel had visited that were similar to the planets in her solar system. These were stories they spent hours sharing with each other. They both had similar abilities. They could communicate with each other without words. They could also do it with others but others had a hard time doing it back with them.

Their bond was one of need. A need to preserve what little bit they could of their culture. Jenny's planet was being invaded by a species that she had never encountered before the invasion. Daniel's planet was destroyed by its own sun's.

Part 2 The Invasion
Jenny could hear screams distant and faint. She woke up at three in the morning to a tugging feeling in her stomach. Every time this feeling came on she knew it met one of two things. Either her little sister Raschel was in trouble being consumed by things that none spoke of. Or it met that the race of aliens invading her planet had found her and were closing in. Some nights she would cry feeling helpless. It seemed like there was no end in sight. She had no one left to talk to. Lot's of people knew about her issues on earth and her abilities. Her abilities responded different on cooler planets. On planets where everything was hot she was always forced into survival. This kept a lot of people amused but it made her extremely unstable. They new she was unstable and sometimes found amusement in that, but she did not think they knew of the danger they were creating. Dannie would sense when she was becoming unstable and would help her. He did not nessairly have to be in the same place as her to help her, he only had to sense her. Those were the good days. Now though, Dannie was sick and dying. He never told Jenny but she could sense it and she could sense all familiar life becoming extencent inside of him. He hid it well, to the average person. Sometimes she could feel him fighting to keep what sanity was left. Perhaps this is why he stopped coming around in the morning. What ever the reason, she did not want anything to do with him when he was like this. Nor did she want any of her family around him and vis a versa. She treasured their bond, but he was more unstable than her and she needed to preserve as much of her reality as possible if she was going to survive what was coming.

Thursday 11,11 this day would be the beginning of something big, but what? She could not explain her feelings to anyone anymore. All of the friendly's as she called the species on this new planet were disappearing. All of the rudes and the aggressive were showing up. For Jenny describing these beings as words was the way she learned their language. She also used descriptive words because of what she felt when they walked by. One women she thought of as static made her stomach hurt. This women simply walked by and made her dizzy. It reminded her of the picture box when there is no picture or connection. When she was alone, records were always a preference over any other form of music. She liked the sound the records made at the end. That sound made something happen in her brain and her spine. This time though while sitting alone, she could not stop wondering about her family. Usually all she had to do was think of them and they would check in with her. Now every time she thought of them she would get a blank signal. She could feel time speeding up, which only made her more sensitive. This also met she cried a lot more because now she was not just feeling one thing at a time, now she was feeling the all. Past pains and joys, present disappointments and excitements, and future disasters and powers. It made her want to scream. Instead she just went back to sleep, pretending the well needed rest would help her coupe better.
