A poem about heart-brake
Lies

Lies are forbidden secrets,
Told by the mouth of the deciever.
You said you loved me,
You promised you'd never.
So, where are you now?
The minute you said good-bye,
You ripped a hole in my chest.
Love, you're causing me no rest.
For, you are the Black Death to my heart.
The snake's venom coursing through my veins.
The asthma to my lungs.
How could you?
Leaving me slaughtered.
At least stitch me together before you leave.
Beautiful, you threw me into a pit.
A Black Abyss of Lonliness.
Am I to wait for you to rescue me?
Love, you hurt me deep within my soul.
Though, my heart still belongs to you,
My dear, I'll take my mangled heart-
And, cure it myself
