Enough

Enough?

Just a little afraid to hope,
but I can't stop dreaming.
Am I ready for this?
How do I trust again?
I've been here before,
on the edge, waiting to fall.
But love can be so hard,
and it has been so long
since I knew myself.
How can I give away
a heart that may never heal?
How can I reach out to you,
Not knowing how much I can give?
Life is not fair, love has no rules.
So, I can only give what is left,
and hope it is enough.
