Memories of young love. Simple pleasures recall the joy of youth.
How could you think my beloved
that life is not worth living?
For me life is an endless joy
because it is shared with you.

I only have to think, my darling of times shared with you
and a smile will touch my lips.
A memory imprinted on my mind
springs alive.

I can see us, walking along
a sandy beach hand in hand.
In our wake we leave the
imprint of our bare feet.

Laughter rang in the early
morning air as we ran through
a meadow of summer flowers;
scattering dandelion clocks on the breeze.

Rmember too the soft grass
as we sat beside a burbling stream.
We lazed under the shady branches of
a weeping willow, listening to the gentle waters.

These simple memories are the fabric
of which my love is made.
A fabric which binds us together;
for life.
