Can one woman change history?
The Gods of Olympus had become sullen and jealous of
Wonder Woman's popularity in the post World War era. She was a
hero to a people, who had forgotten the God's. Zeus commanded
the Goddess Sophia to cast a deep sleep over Wonder Woman.
The people believed their hero was dead and placed her in a temple,
where all visitors could view her incorruptible beauty. There she lay
on the marble alter for 80 years. A blink of time to a God.
It was a cold November night when the greatest Amazon warrior
woke. She arched her back and sprang from the alter with her sword
drawn. This was not her home. She felt the presence of another immortal.
"It is I, Sophia, who has raised you from forgetfulness." the Goddess spoke
from within her spirit. "Is there a battle?" the Amazon answered.
"You must go to the King. He has need of your council." Sophia spirit
radiated from Wonder Woman. "My Heart and my sword are at your command."
the Amazon answered and sheathed her sword. Her temple was near the
capital of this new democracy of America. She stepped broadly into the
the night. A man approached her on a motorcycle.
"You look just like her." he said . . . Wonder Woman picked him up
off his ride with one arm. "Do you address me? I am Wonder Woman."
her breath steamed. "My God! You are!" the startled man looked terrified.
"Do not fear me. I am your champion. Take me to your President."
Her commands were calm as she lowered the man back onto his ride.
"I-can't." he mumbled, "Pennsylvania Avenue is blockaded. No one can
see the President without .. an appointment." Wonder Woman stared
at the stars, "I can see Ursa Minor. The Capital is near." She began her
march. "Hey! You can't just walk in there." the man shouted and then
started his motorcycle, "Hop on!" She laughed and leaped onto the back,
"What is your name?" "Jessie. Jessie James." he smiled back and
throttled his bike down the icy roads.

            "I feel like we should sing. Let's sing about rainbows. We need to let people;
use their creativity." Obama spoke to his close friend Kermit the frog.
"Mr. President." Amid the chief of security stepped over and whispered in the
President's ear. The President nodded his head slowly in agreement with a toothy smile.
Wonder Woman had been escourted to the oval office. "Well. If you'll excuse me."
he stepped quickly out of the press room. "Is it really her?" he asked.
"She checks out." Amid answered while listening to his ear piece. "I have a funny feeling about this."
Obama entered the oval office and beheld a demi-God. He froze for a moment, "Jessie? I thought you
were heading back to Texas?" "So did I. I was headed for the interstate; when I came upon the greatest
gift to man." Jessie smiled at Wonder Woman. She walked slowly up to the President, "Your country
is in grave danger." "I am aware of the terrorist threat." Obama offered Wonder Woman a seat on the
couch. They sat. "Odin; king of Asguard has wandered into your country. He is drunk and violent."
Wonder Woman looked directly into the Presindent's eyes. Jessie laughed, but stopped quickly as
the Amazone queen glared at him. "He is a powerfull God and can topple kingdoms. His son Thor walks
with him and they are in Las Vagas. There are a tribe of Norwegians, who follow them."
her manner was commanding. "I'm not sure what I can do about that. Do they have passports?"
Obama had not grasped the importance of this.

"Odin is dangerous. He is a violent and jealous God. Las Vagas could become another Sodom and Gomorrah."
She placed her hand on the President's hand. "You must allow me to reason with him." Jessie sat down on the French chair.
"Ah-ah This is a matter of National Security. If this God is dangerous, then I should inform the Cheif of State. .." the President
looked over to Amid nervously. "You can not fight a God. Only a God can do that." Wonder Woman raised her right hand.
A crackling thunder bolt appeared in her hand; "A gift from Zeus. He wishes to intercede for your country's people."
"I-er thank Zeus for His gift." the President was clearly confused. "Why not have Zeus fight Odin?" Jessie said and lit up a
            tipperella. "That would be war. I am half mortal. Odin will see me as mankind's champion. If he believes Zeus is attacking him;
he will tear down the Heavens and every living thing will die." Wonder Woman's answer was chilling. Amid whispered into the
President's left ear,  "The Chief of State is on the red phone." Wonder Woman looked into the President's eyes, "Do not
attack Odin. I am your champion."

"I don't think I can help you much." Jessie said, while driving Wonder Woman to the airport.
His Harley Davison growled as they raced up the highway. "You are a man of this time. I have been asleep
too long." Wonder Woman squeezed Jessie about the chest... Jessie laughed, "Is this a date?" The Amozon Princess
pressed her chest against his back, "I am a woman and I am Greek." She laughed. She thought of her first mortal
lover Col. Steve Trevor. He was as handsome. "Ah.. were here. I'll go get the tickets." Jessie worried about his divorce
and how Wonder Woman would react. A dozen paparazii flashed their cammeras at them. Wonder Woman smiled
and marched up behind Jessie at the ticket counter. "We need to talk about Sandra." she whispered into his right ear.
Jessie's eyes were wider than they had ever been as they boarded Virgin airlines. "A man, who does not respect his wife
should be castrated." Wonder Woman spoke calmly as she sat beside Jessie on their flight. Jessie squirmed in his window
seat, staring out at the clouds. What could he say? She could snap his neck like a twig. "I'm very sorry." his vioce faded.
Wonder Woman looked at Jessie, calculating his usefullness. You will be my guide. If you betray me, I will kill you.
Jessie sunk down into his seat. What could he do? He was trapped. She left her seat and returned in red sleeveless dress.

Jessie had a ranch house outside the city. "This is big sky country." Wonder Woman streached her arms and spun
about. In a flash, she was dressed in a cow girl outfit. She put her hands to her forehead, "Odin is near, but I do not sense
Thor." "Oooo. kay. Are you hungry?" Jessie asked as he fired up the stone grill. "Hmm? I have no need of food, but I do
enjoy meat and wine." she hesitated, "You may call me Diana Prince." The two enjoyed stakes and Burgundy.
"Diana. I'm not proud of the mess I made of my marriage. I hope we can be friends." Jessie asked still fearfull.
"The wine is effecting you. As I said, 'You are my guide.' you must prove your friendship with loyalty... or I kill you."
Diana smiled and filled their glasses. Jessie stared blankly at her. Was she joking? He did not dare ask her.
The sun was setting. "Ah-Vagas is most active at night." Jessie gulped his wine. "Then, let us enter the city at night!"
Diana threw the empty bottle against the grill, shattering it. She gave a toothy smile and stood up, swaying slightly.
"Are you drunk?" Jessie asked softly. She laughed, "I haven't been drunk since.... 1945-54? I don't care. Just go!"
Jessie said a silient prayer to Jesus as he walked with Diana to his Corvette.

"When your in love. Your in Forever. I wasn't looking, but somehow I found you.
I never knew you, when I first met you. And when your gone; your gone forever.
And when I dream; I dream of you. I never ask you to leave. What took you away?"
a pale woman sang at the Trump Casino.

Sandra sat in the front row with her good friend Dr. Ray Borne. She smiled and sipped a Manhattan.
"A strange song to sing." Dr. Borne said. "I like it." Sandra kissed him.

"Look around me now. What changes do I see?
Where do the dreams go? Unto the great unknown.
Now I must retreat. I find myself back home.
I dream of happiness and home; someone to hold.
Where have all the dreams gone? Unto the great unknown."
the pale woman let her red hair fall over her face.

"Freya." Diana said. Jessie had brought her to the casino. "Who?" Jessie turned to the tall Amazon.
Dr. Borne turned in his seat and looked to the back of the room. "Diana." he said. Sandra turned to see.
"Oh-my-God." she spotted Jessie. The doctor looked at Sandra with deliberation. "You see...?" he was interupted.
"Oh! Yeah! My big jerk ex! Let's get out of here!" Sandra stood up. Dr. Borne supressed laughter, "We have to?
I was looking forward to meeting this monster." Sandra snapped her neck around, "Parrazzis!" Cameras flashed.
Jessie saw the flashes he grabbed Diana's arm to turn her. .. She kept walking forward toward Sandra and Dr. Borne.

"I would take a thousand years of pain just to hold you again."
the pale woman sang to Diana.

The doctor ran to Diana and they embraced and kissed deeply. "Thor." Diana whispered.+

                                        "Dream. Dream. Dream.
                                        Go to sleep and dream."
                                        Freya sang.

Sandra's face was ashent. She had been betrayed again. Jessie walked away,
trying to find a quiet place to hide. "I'm cursed. Who? I need a valum." Sandra rambled
and fell back into her seat. Dr. Borne put his hand on Sandra's limp wrist to check her
pulse. Sandra looked up and laughed, "Hypocrite oath?" She tossed some pills into her
mouth and swallowed. "Sandra. I told you I have other lady friends. Please, don't be childish."
The Dr. said slowly as he checked her eyes. "Who is this?" Sandra asked. "Oh? My dearest
friend Diana." he answered as Diana approached. "Ah? Ray and I have been apart a along time.
I meant no disrespect. Womanhood is the stronger than anything. No country can stand
without strong women." Diana towered over Sandra. "That's nice. I going up to my suite."
Sandra stood up and fell over her chair. "Ow-ow." she mumbled on the floor. Jessie helped
her to her feet. "Okay. My ankle hurts." she pouted. Dr. Borne examined the ankle and placed
his hands about it. "Ahhh! Your hands are hot!" Sandra stammered, then wiggled her ankle.
"Its better. Thanks." she replied with a sniffle and pushed Jessie away. Mrs. Bullok walked
lop sided two paces. She had broken a heel. Then she took them off and marched out the
            dinning room.
Diana and Ray sat a the table sipping wine. "Did I ruin everything?" Diana queeried.
Ray shrugged and ate a biscut. "I have a suite here too." he said with a smirk.
"Where is your father?" Diana asked with peircing brown eyes. Ray sat back:
"What do you want with my father?" "He must answer for his crimes." she said .+
"A God is not judged. Diana did Zeus send you to challenge my father?" his question
was followed by the rumble of thunder. His hammer appeared on the table. Diana smiled:
"Must I fight the son to meet the father?"  Thor stood before her in his armor. "I guess the
All Father cannot be questioned." Wonder Woman spoke in her golden armor. The audience
had turned their way and the paparazzi flashes lit up the room.

Mrs. Bullock turned to see and was hit with a latte. Her red blouse was covered in chocolate.
"Oh? Yeah-ah-huh okay." Sandra grabbed a towel from a matradee. "Ray bought this for me.
My special gift." she sniffled as some of the people shuved pass her to the exit. "I think we
should leave." Jessie said grabbing Sandra by the arm. "Drop dead!" she yanked her arm
away and ran towards... "Thor?" Sandra gasped and tore her skirt on Wonder Woman's sword.
"Get out of the way!" Thor shouted at Sandra. "I AM A HUMAN BEING AND DESERVE RESPECT!"
                              she shouted back.

"The species is caged .. in fright .. no countries nowhere to run.
This is the count down to extiction...
No contest nowhere to run.... this is it
This is the count down to extinction.
All are gone nowhere to run..." Freya sang whipping her hair.

Freya drew her bow at Wonder Woman. Sandra pointed at Freya, "Hey-hey. Diana!"
Wonder Woman turned and caught the arrow and snapped it. "Is this how we entertain guess?"
Odin stepped forward with his Norwegian security guards. "What crimes does my brother Zeus
accuse me of?" he asked and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Donald Trump is a nordic God?"
Sandra mumbled as she tried to hold her dress up and rub the stain off her blouse.
"You have interfered in mortal affairs." Wonder Woman braced herself for the All Father's rath.
"So have you. Ha! Ha! Ha! That's what God's do. Please sit enjoy the show. The menue is delightfull."
Odin had his son stand down. "Your plans are genocidical. This New World Order will mean the death
of millions of innocent people. It will end freedom and democracy." Wonder Woman spoke harshly.
"You can't be so nieve? There has never been freedom or democracy. The strongest and most cunning
grow fat off the land. That is natural selection. It has always been true." Odin said and drank his ale.
"Zeus will not stand for an Asguardian empire." Wonder Woman answered and kept a watch on Freya's
bow. "Oh? Well, then join the corporation." Odin laughed. Wonder Woman gave a broad smile and
over turned the table. She threw a thunder bolt at Odin, knocking him to the floor. Thor struct Wonder Woman
with his hammer accross her breast plate. She was thrown accross the room. Frey let loose an arrow.
Wonder Woman deflected it with her bracelet. Odin stood up. His chest burnt: "So. He gave you his thunder bolt?"
Odin made two fists accross his face and he was covered in his armor. He and his son charged at the amazon.
Odin with his battle axe and Thor his hammer. Freya let fly a hail of arrows.

The golden falcon sheild of Minerva caught the arrows as the sword of Percies cut across Thor.
Odin's battle axe drew blood. She faltered. Thor swung his hammer. A thunder bolt threw Thor to the wall.
Odin continued to chop at her sheild. She thrust her sword into his side. He stepped back in amazement ..
How could the All Father bleed? "Even the God's die!" Wonder Woman shouted and threw another thunder bolt.
Odin withstood it. "I am Odin!" his voice shook the building. Wonder Woman gave a battle cry and drove her
sword into the All Father's chest. He dropped to his knees and cut her with his axe accross the torso. She fell
backwards. Freya's struck four arrows into the amazon warrior. Thor held his father, "You cannot die."
Odin's eyes shut. He vanished in blinding light. Thor wept and walked to Diana. She was not breathing.
"What is thy will father?" he sobbed. He removed the arrows and placed his hands on her wounds. She rose up.
She was naked, but unscarred. "Why?" Diana asked. "I am a doctor." he answered with a smile.
Freya sat on the stage crying out for Odin.+
