A poem I wrote in a class of mine based off of Elie Wiesel's book "Night".
First of all let me explain how this poem works. Using only phrases from Elie Wiesel's book "Night" I wrote a poem for a project in my English class. The numbers you will see on the right side are the page numbers from which I got the phrases from. Enjoy!

Trapped
God’s Hell, stranded, 16
Incapable of thinking. 36
Damned souls wandering through the void 36
Seeking oblivion without any hope. 36

Divine Suffering 3
Linked to that of man. 3
Set the whole world on fire, 109
Murdered my god. 34
You caused the heavens to rain down fire. 68

Where’s God? 77
Decaying. 98
Slaughtered on Thine altar 67
In the face of all this cowardice. 66

An escape from reality 86
Mass agony and silence 89
I suffer hell in my soul and flesh. 77
Angel of Death 34
Have Mercy. 93

One less reason to live, 109
Doomed and rootless. 87
Dream of another life, 87
It’s better there. 89

One more reason to hate 109
Two hands on my throat 102
They are expecting trouble 61
Cover your heads! 103

Man is stronger, greater than God. 67
One foot in front of the other, like a machine 85
No thought of revenge, 115
I was saved. 7
