Forever

The morning fog, the mountain rains
the frosty nights, the dewy ground,
the softly falling snow, so white so pure,
falling forever in my memory, now so clear I
can almost touch them, if only I were still here.

Let me live, let me love and let me see,
the true beauty of the world in which we live,
not a war torn world, but the beauty of the mountains
and the rivers, the mountain streams,the wide open plains,
the beauty of nature and the wild animals,
the beautiful glacial lakes.

Take me back to a world of peace, somewhere we all belong,
the summer heat, the warmth of spring,
the falling of the Autumn leaves, the icy cold of winter snows,
a perfect world that will last forever.

Let me live, let me love and let me see,
a wonderland forever for you and me,
when I die bury me in the earth and cover the place I know lie
with all of the colours of the rainbow, so as I will never be
forgotten and remembered always.

Let us all try to create a place where we can be remembered forever,
not for who or what we are, but for where we are from and what
we stand for in this life.

Let me live, let me love and let me see,
one world together, devoid of colour, race, and stereotypes
where we are all one person, with differences,
and emberace these differences for what they are,
the individual and special gifts that make our lives compleate.
Ohhh if only I were still here,
let me live, let me love and let me look down on our
beautiful world forever.
