The things I want from You
I don't want Your blessings
And I don't want Your hand
Both of those are wonderful
But not what I demand

You could leave me lying here
Bleeding from my heart
Or You could lend me Your sweet Spirit
And then from me depart

Nail me to that rugged Cross
Shame me; turn Your face
I don't think I'll ever mind
Being Your disgrace

Because all I want is You
And never one thing more
I'd suffer, bleed and even die
Just to sit upon Your shore
