A family of foxes whose children face a difficult situation - a children's poem.
There once was a fox wearing boxer briefs
Who blew his nose using handkerchiefs;
He was married to another who liked cooking and knitting,
Raising little foxes, and not doing much sitting…

They lived underground in a medium foxhole,
And Tuesday night was the dad’s night to bowl.
Then around bedtime, when they’d had enough to eat,
They’d read to their children stories they could repeat.

But their three young sons would walk to school daily,
And then came a bigger fox acting like a bully –
He was joined by others and they caused them much trouble,
So the sons began fighting and they lay there in rubble…

The dad had no choice but to drive them to school;
And the mother told them all about one golden rule –
Show kindness to others and whatever you do,
Do unto others as you’d have done to you!

So the three little foxes tried hard to explore
Living this thinking as never before,
But they still felt the beating they took from the bullies,
And how angry they were, not feeling at ease.

But they knew two wrongs would not make a right,
And talking's the answer when the truth’s out of sight.
They promised their parents they’d never fight again,
And to deal most graciously as God-fearing men!

Assuming His throne would give everlasting peace,
They knew that communication would make problems cease.
And they shouldn’t be afraid to say what’s on their mind,
For the infinite gift of the peace they would find!
