Text books talk about events that people have done for the good of humanity and people who have tried to hardest to conquer the world. Good and evil has existed before textbooks were even published, so, what is good and evil? It can be defined in many ways, by the actions, morals, personality, and beliefs. The one thing that these two have in common is that, humans’ posses the ability to either be good or evil.

Morals are practices or teachings in modes of conduct. The morals of a good person are to be a giver, helping the good and the bad, even when it is not needed. In other words, to be chivalrous, do what is right and ethical. The morals of an evil person are seen differently to a good person point of view. Their morals are to have goals and do whatever it takes for them to succeed, whether it is to lie, cheat, and hurt others, such as emotionally, mentally, and in some cases, physically. To be moral can benefit anyone, for instance, if you respect someone, then they to will show you the same respect you showed them. Having morals that aren’t so good can question people of your intentions and/or personality.

Personalities give facts relating to a certain person, some are good qualities and some are bad qualities. The personality of a good person is to of course be kind, the best quality to stand out in a person. There also is, to be a positive influence, positive influences are role models in anyone’s life and guide help guide them. Selfless, as said before is to be chivalrous, or, paying it forward. By paying it forward it starts a movement that helps everyone. Honesty is always the best policy, whether it be good news or bad new, to be honest is very important. Last but not least, being friendly, a good person tries to make friends with everyone even if some one doesn’t want to be your friend. The personality of an evil person is the exact opposite of a good person. Evil people are mean, and like to torcher people by bulling them. Being a negative influence, is to influence someone to do bad, it can also be called as peer pressure, which many go through. Instead of guiding lives to do well, the guide them to do the worst possible activities that might destroy their life. Selfish is another bad quality, not caring about anyone or anything, taking advantage of others, so it can only benefit them. Jealousy is the quality that leads to selfishness and the next bad quality of greediness, the cause of most evil people to be evil. Greediness is the close to selfishness, except the only thing is that the also lie and cheat.

From back then until now in days, good and evil have battled to the death. An example of a good person is someone who has made a difference and someone that is on the verge of making a difference. There is a good in everyone, an example is someone in particular he’s an amazing friend, caring, trustworthy, selfless, and honest, his name is, Damian Morano. He’s a no body he’s not n the history books, or any articles, but he has all the qualities of being a good role model and in the future might make a difference in someone’s life or many people’s lives; he expects nothing in return, only for the love of his friends.

An example of an evil person is someone that will make a difference, but not for the good of anyone only the good of himself and maybe on the verge of becoming a loser if they do not change their ways. Anyone can be evil, but it’s never the best thing to be or in the end you’ll just end up alone. An excellent example is a girl named Claudia Navarro, she bullied anyone and everyone, use people for her benefit, she was considered a liar and a cheater, out of jealousy toward anyone that would be acknowledge instead of her. After, everything she ended up all alone, with no one to talk to. Now she regrets that she ever acted the way she did.

Good and evil can be measured in many ways. They can be people, actions, beliefs, or objects. But in this case, good and evil was based on people, we all have a choice of who we want to be, the only question is: “Is it going to make me happy and other happy as well?” There is a quote, “Evil can’t survive without good, but Good can survive without Evil.” This quote goes with everything that happens in life and should be greatly meditated upon.
