One of my many poems :)
Sing me to sleep,
your sweet song
is my serenade

The words
become a part of me,
fill my loneliness
with a sense of longing

Things are so jumbled,
colors turn into shapes,
they collide
and form a mess of nothing

Nothing has become my everything,
my guide
to a future
none can anticipate

So I find a way
to make it all fit together,
I take my words
and I make them into something

Sing me to sleep,
your serenade,
it fades

Wake me in a world
where nothing is right,
but everything is there,
so real.

A sense of dread
comes with this gift of vision,
if I close my eyes
I can hear the symphony

so sing
your sweet serenade
