yet he never gloats

the robot is never happy, angry, or sad

he never called his creator daddy

and is not distracted by thoughts to be glad

to civilizations it deos lay waste

surpassing all expectations

he gets the job done in great haste

he never feels remorse

but stays truely on his course

a machine to do what he's told

eventually to be replaced

simply becuase he's getting old

the robot is a slave

unable to be saved

bound in chains of slavery

to do man's work for eternity
