The Knight in Shining Armor Beware of violence and slang.
The next morning went by ordinarily. Whenever Lollita asked Ann if she was okay, she'd always lie and tell her everything was fine. "Why do you ask?" She questioned Lollita. "N-no reason, really." Lollita stuttered with a nervous giggle. "Well, okay." Ann razzed, stuffing her bookbag in her locker. Ever since that night, worries crossed over Lollita's mind. Sadly, this kept on. "Hey, do you open up to your mother at all, Ann?" Lollita asked suddenly, tugging her bookbag out of her locker. "Well, she works in another state. My house is well-protected, so she left me here. Whenever she's home, I try not to burden her because she becomes stressed." She answered her, as she pushed the school doors open. Well, that pretty much answered Lollita's other questions too. Like, 'Why doesn't she tell her mother?' but then another thought came to her head.

"What about your father? Does he work out of state too?" Lollita asked, feeling rather nosy. It never occured to her how rude she was, since she was clogged with worry. "No..." Ann murmured, walking out. Lollita became stiff as she followed behind her. "He got devorced, with my mother you see. Afterwards, he died in a accident..." She answered. Lollita felt so ashamed she had asked her such a question. She was like Lollita, all alone. "I'm sorry." She whispered, bounding ahead of her. Behind them was the group that always picked on them, and that strange young man that rushed them off that one day.

"Well, if it isn't the witch and her faithful servant." One mocked. "Wow, the witch is wearing make-up." Another teased. That did it. Lollita's anger swelled up, making her want to wail at them. "Y-yeah? S-so what?"Lollita stuttered, barley holding the lava in the volcano. "C'mon, let's have some fun with the witch." Another suggested. "Yeah, that's a good idea. Wanna join us, Takeru?" The first one offered. He appeared to be the leader of the group. "No, it's a waste of time. Witches don't exist." He answered, walking past Lollita. She looked back in astonishment. He wasn't like the others. "Eh, okay guys, let's go." The one said, following after him.

"What a spring of luck," Ann sighed. "We couldn't get past a situation like that, being ganged up on like that." She pointed out. "Yeah." Lollita nodded. "See you tomorrow!" Ann dismissed, as the two went their seperate ways. Lollita sighed as she plopped down in her bed, cuddling with the quilt. "Takeru, huh?" She repeated to herself, sighing peacefully as she fell into a deep sleep.
