Some people abuse me.
Some people live me.
Some people teach me.
Some people make me.
Some criticise me.
I am everywhere in some form or another.
I am rhythm
I am notes
I am tone.
I come in all shapes and sizes.
Heavy metal, classical, blues, techno.
Listen while you work,
While you play,
While you skate,
While you sleep,
While you dance.
There are bad parts.
The parts that discriminate,
The parts that bash,
The parts that promote drugs.
I have power.
I can save lives,
I can end a life,
I can provide a memory,
I can provide emotions.
I am music.
