an ordinary day of a teenager
The pendulum of the antique clock oscillated rapidly. The sky outside the curtained windows still wore a dark blue robe. A thin shade of red could be seen at the horizon. The exquisitely designed bed was covered with a lovely printed bed sheet.
Saima kept tossing and turning in her bed. She looked like a bee on a bunch of pink roses. Saima had a very sweet complexion, and a figure as trimmed as a hornet’s back.

Pinggg…! The girl was awakened by an irritating, familiar sound.
“Oh! It’s those mosquitoes again, where is the insecticide?” she soliloquized.
The girl remained busy with the mosquito killing mission for the next fifteen minutes. She sprayed aerosol in every nook and cranny of her room. She dusted all the furniture to get rid of hidden Anopheles.
All of a sudden, Saima realized she had to attend an important class. She took about ten minutes to compose herself. After giving a contended smile at her reflection in the mirror, she came downstairs.

A nice warm breakfast was ready at the dining table. Saima’s mother always looked after her basic needs. She kissed her mom before skipping out of the door.
“Honey, don’t forget your money.” Saima came to a sudden halt. She had completely forgotten the date. It was the 14th, her pocket money day. Taking the shiny thousand taka: The local currency of Bangladesh note inside a beautifully embroidered wallet, Saima threw her arms around her mom. “Mothers are always the best of all females” She declared.
