Convict and the lawyer The convict (Lalit Sharma) is sleeping, the lawyer (Raghav Acharya) enters slapping the mosquito sitting on his own face and says “ Bloody! I would rather leave this job of law. Hey! Pandey! Just have a little time to spray some room-spray inside the cell also. It’s smelling like the garbages of municipality.” Lalit wakes up from sleep slowly, and looks at Raghav with shock and surprise. Raghav continues saying, “So you are Mr.Lalit Sharma,! So you stuffed her with a pillow and finished her!... Didn’t you have any other easy technique to kill? Anyways, my name is Raghav Acharya…” Suddenly looks at the wall, its full of poems and lines written. Raghav says “Wow, Mr. Lalit, wow! The government doesn’t allow these walls to write stupid poetries. Lalit expresses a bit of irritation “Will you stop your nonsense! You are going to fight my case! You! My mind is not working , it’s not working at all. I am just tried tried of everything.The government has sent you to fight my case! You! You just please leave from here. My mind not working at all.” Raghav silent for a moment and then speaks “Mr. Lalit I would like to say something. This case is complicated. And not even your Godfather will be able to save you in this case. Then who the hell am I to save you…hahahaha. I would like to say you, this is my 25th case. Hahh.. my mother always used to say me ‘Son, don’t be a lawyer. You are a hearty person , and this job of law is not for you, son. You should go for that profession which is related to heart….’ But it was my heart which had only brought me to this profession Mr. Lalit. Everytime I have stir the truth and poked honesty in my cases, and everytime I have lost the case. Everytime.. And mother also used to say, ‘In the way of honesty there is struggle and pain , but if you can be in this path for the entire of your life, that’s a victory in it’s own.’ ” |
