Sometimes life’s not always as it seems.
It’s so much better.
It doesn’t always meet up to the expectations of your dreams.
It makes you want to scream.
But don’t. Cause you’ve taken things to the extremes!
Not everything is bright and gleams.
Sometimes you find yourself running down random streams.
Along the way you might run into someone very cunning.
The sight of them might be stunning.
Why were they there?
This is something rare.
Friend or Foe? Do you care?
Don’t just stand there and stare.
They can help you repair!
Look around you through the air.
It takes courage. Do you dare?
Just kneel down and say a prayer.
Don’t compare.
Just start to prepare.
You’re already aware that people will tell you to beware.
But don’t you ever fall into despair!
That’s only the devils lair.
You might not realize it quite yet, but life really is fair.
So what if you’re not a millionaire?
But I’m willing to bet that they also sweat.
Don’t fall a victim to the threat!
It’s so hard to get out of that net.
Just don’t forget what you’ll get when you look at the sky.
It’s true that you might have to say goodbye someday.
But till then don’t stray.
Take time to stop and play.
But don’t waste away and decay.
Think of all those dreams that you tried to chase.
Don’t ever let them be replaced.
Not even by all those challenges that you faced.
Life is here to be embraced!
