A mothers voice

I feel tired, I feel old. What you are doing to me is for the benefit of mankind I'm told.

So, why don't you know if I'm getting warmer or cold?

Will you continue to allow, Global warming, pollution and deforestation, if I may be so bold?

These things didn't happen when I was young, so why do you allow them to happen, now that I'm old?

Do you not realize, the pain born from your indecision, is not only mine.

It affects all living things, the young and the old with time.

So, look after me and all my creatures. Remember, we are all frail.

Don't let the Japanese hunt any of my beautiful whales.

You can all live in harmony, is that so hard to do?

Will mankind continue to kill and mame for just a greedy few?

Your so called knowledge allowed many creatures to perish.

You helped destroy a world they cherished.

Maybe it's all for the better that you all are lost, why should the rest of my creatures bear all the cost?

So, keep in mind what you do with your deeds, you are not the only creature with needs.

So, Mankind, what shall you do? Your fate is mine, we are bound together.

You and I know we shall not be here forever.

I am the womb that nurtured you all, I have seen your history, I have seen all your tears.

But remembert this. When you are gone, I will still be here for a few million years?/center}
