This poem is about the classic frustration felt by a girl who is let down by a boyfriend. |
Why didn’t you call me when you knew you should? Why did you let your ego make you so rude? Why didn’t you make it count while you still could? Well right now forget it, you blew it dude. Why did you give me up without a fight? Why didn’t you make an effort to try? Why did you leave me hanging there? Did you ever even really care? Why were your friends always there? Why were you still such a player? Why is everything all about pride? Do you really have that much to hide? Why do you need to be drunk to say something with meaning? Why do you always expect me to tell you how I’m feeling? Why couldn’t you be open for once in your life? Is that really you, cause it’s so damn naïve. Why don’t you ever do what you say you will? Why is your whole world standing still? Why are you always chronically late? You never even bother to honor a date. Why did you hurt me again and again? Did you never think I’d go through that pain? Why did you spectacularly let me down? And how dare you come running back now? Why did you let me go? Why? Why? Why? I guess it was all a lie. By Skeptic_Kid |
