The sound of silence.

The sound of silence............

That beautiful, melodic sound that comes from nowhere and everywhere at once.  It can be seen as well as heard through the faces and the eyes of everyone around you.  It is the stillness of a sleeping baby, or the gentleness of a soft wind as the clouds pass over head. 

The smile of your sweetheart as love glows through the smile when nothing needs to be said.  A kind thank you radiating from the eyes of the elderly as you hold the door open for them.



Silence has no age or boundary.  It is a lifelong, everlasting, needed break from the noise that drowns out our own thoughts and voices.  The illumination of words without words that leave concrete impressions on our minds and in our hearts.  It can erase a thousand words with just one moment of much needed silence.  The break that the mind, body and soul craves more then anyone wants to admit to or allows themselves to have.
