My Fear

I write not to terrify you
But to make known to you the horror to come
If you don’t take heed to my words

Doom!!! Doom!!!
Is all I hear as I wake
Fear of Doom cloud my heart
I must be dreaming I said to myself
And I need to wake quickly
Before this nightmare becomes a reality
But I am awake
Slapped with reality, I shivered in fear

Mammon has taken over the world
Men and Women worshipping in Awe
Ah!!! My fear has turned reality
News reaching me that my lover
Has been taken into slavery
Tears I tried to force out my eyes
But none could I get

How terrifying can you imagine
Ah!!! I was warned
But didn’t take heed
My lover’s faith is rest on you
How do I save my lover was all I could think of
But how could I save her?
Was a word to ponder over?

I am a slave in a different village
To same conqueror with my lover
I need a saviour who isn’t a slave to mammon
No one man meets this standard
Mammon is crafty, he gives generous to you
What you can never repay

But only you can
If you would take heed
To my instructions, don’t let mammon corrupt you
He is crafty but would serve you
The sun is the ruler of the day
But serves the moon at night
Ponder over it and you will be wise
