No matter what You did
No matter all Your beauty,
Your majesty or fame,
Or all who bow before You,
And sweetly call Your name.

No matter Your creation;
The works left in Your wake,
My eyes would not be awestruck,
Still, they would have strayed.

And You could bind my heart up,
You could call my name.
The one lost sheep for which You seek,
Whose soul would not be tame.

You could carry me so sweetly,
When my feet finally go lame.
And You could have done so much more,
But I'd of left You anyway.
