Little Miss

To paint the sky
With a little green
And a lot of purple
To paint the stars
With a lot of blue
And a tinge of lavender
Was her wish
And to cover the earth
With a delicate dandelion veil
Was her dream
And to love the sun
And give the pie to the moon
Was her desire
Little did she know
She'll be gone away
Soon, far away
To play, dance and sing
With the daisies
In the clouds
And look down
With her loving eyes
