War

The sky was up in smokes,
from the two sides colliding.
The pain I held
to keep on fighting.

The soldiers in combat,
falling down wounded.
And the enemies attacking,
getting killed by our forces.

Everyday, I walk through this land,
hoping this would all end.
Being cautious,
not to get killed.

I came into this mess,
this war with many deaths.
One way to get out
is to continue to fight.
