A letter coming from a very important person about the dying ocean life and all in it. |
Listen closely; I have something important to say. This message is not meant for aliens or chickens. This is for you humans. I lent you the oceans, fishes and chorals for you and your children to see. But why do you hurt them? Have they done something wrong? Are they too much or are they too small? My fishes began to complain of the waste in the waters that weren't there before. They ask me if it is the end of their hope or the end of their world. I, too, became very confused. Why do you keep throwing, this is abuse. I have been visited by the clan of the whales and I listened to their story of how their young one died. It seems that the child was taken away in a boat and his family saw him no more. It wasn't the death that scared me; it was the sight of seeing the humongous whales crying their hearts out. I began to think, if this problem could make big and mighty whales cry, what more could this bring? I went up to the surface and was angry at what I saw. At one spot, I could already see everything that you humans do. I saw a boat full of dead dolphins; I saw four little children throwing candy rappers by the bay. What happened to the peaceful sailors? They have become merciless fishermen. What happened to the innocent children? They have become the murderers of my creatures. Is this what you call gratitude? I have lent you all marine things God has created. But why do you keep abusing them? In my rage, I had enough power to order the waters to create a tsunami. I conjured up terrible typhoons. I created tornadoes. When I had done all of them, I went back down in the ocean and slept with troubled thoughts. When I woke up after millions of years, I went back to the surface. I was amazed at what I saw. I saw people cleaning up the rivers; I saw dolphins as friends of little children. What happened to the merciless fishermen? They have become stewards of the sea. What happened to the murderers of my creatures? They have become friends of the fishes. I was spotted by a little boy dressed up in blue. He asked, “Hello there. What is your name?” I replied, knowing I can’t hide my identity, “Hello, child. My name is Poseidon. King Poseidon.” |
