The SuperPatriots Featured on Warner Independent Pictures The 11th Hour Soundtrack

The SuperPatriots join other well known national artists such as Radiohead and The White Stripes for critically anticipated documentary about our environment.

The SuperPatriots sign on to national Green Initiative Summer Music tour.

NEW YORK, N.Y.  - May. 11, 2007 - Warner Independent Pictures announced a milestone event for independently signed musical artists The SuperPartiots.  The SuperPatriots will be featured on the upcoming, critically anticipated, soundtrack to Warner Independent Pictures film, The 11th Hour which is produced and narrated by Leonardo Dicaprio and will hit theaters this summer. The 11th Hour examines the human relationship with earth from its earliest glimmers of innovation, to the challenges humanity faces in the present, to the possibilities of the future. The soundtrack to the film will feature Green Initiative supporters such as The White Stripes, Radiohead, Lucinda William and other well known music act.  The SuperPatriots’ track entitled “Selfish” will be produced by SRS veteran producer Rob Shimonski, exclusively for the film. Recording for the soundtrack will take place at Bearsville Studios, in Woodstock NY.  The SuperPatriots have announced that they will be featured artist on the 2007 Green Initiative Summer Music tour with other featured artist from the film’s soundtrack.

The 11th Hour soundtrack sales fund further expansion for The Green Initiative
WIP anticipates a large volume of The 11th Hour soundtrack sales based on critical anticipation of the film.  The soundtrack will be on sale and accompany a press campaigns which will be featured in theaters where the film will be released.  All of the monies generated from the sales will go to support The Green Initiative and its attempt to reverse the effects of Global Warming. .

Supporting musical tour to launch this Spring
In the coming months, The Green Initiative will begin a web based campaign timed around the film August, 2007 release of the film The 11th Hour which will feature news, updates to spread awareness and get the public involved in the Green effort. The web campaign will be supported by a musical tour, featuring performances in twenty two states. Artists signed on to appear include RadioHead, The White Stripes, The Foo Fighters and The SuperPatriots. More artists to be announced as tour dates are finalized.
