Kite day

We can make it
With just some string and glue and paper
Popsicle sticks to save some cash

So reel out your kite string

Our little efforts are covered in our fingerprints

They may have pretty nylon wings
But we have glue sticks and sticky kisses
After all those popsicles
That red stain will never come out of my shirt

So keep holding on to your kite string

Maybe we are too naive, but that can’t be a bad thing
