Bitter is the Better

For bitter is better,
The lighter our weather,
For the better is the bitter truth.

The changing of lives,
Resulting from lies,
Is the most shamefull thing we can do.

The truth as we know it,
Is too painful to show it,
When it seems we have something to lose.

Yet our lack of odacity,
Shows true human compacity,
To benefit others and choose.

To swollow our pride,
Let our grievances die,
And let our demons loose.
