My name is Nick Coleman....and I'm about to die. I don't really regret what happened to me, 'cause it's been kinda fun. Well, minus the whole almost dieing every second, life changing, not being in control thing. Fate has never been on my side, on any of our sides, so I'm pretty much a dead guy. See, I'm only one-fourth human. The other three parts are split like two-fourth's werewolf and one-fourth....something else. Yes, I said werewolf. No, you are not dreaming. And there is not just werewolves either. Vampires, Dragons, Dwarfs, Griffins, you name it. Almost every human can't see us, the unnatural's, because they don't have the sight. I say almost every 'cause some can see sometimes. They, or "you", call it the sixth sense. I winced as I glanced up from my composition notebook to see Mrs. Kuper staring me down with her beady little eyes. She always said my name wrong. Always. A thousand of snappy comebacks to me to say to her but all that come out was, " Yes, Mrs.Kuper? And it's Moore, by the way.". She ignored me anyway saying," Yes, Yes, Yes, Morrow. Do you even have any of your work done?". Work? I searched my slowing freaking out brain to try to remember what we were doing in class. The......factoring of square roots! I looked at my desk to try and find it. Nope. Nothing. But I had it done I told myself. That's when I heard laughing behind me. I glanced back to see Lindsey Gary holding my worksheet, grinning evilly. I swear, she is a vampire, a evil no good sluttish Vampire. I looked back to Mrs.Kuper and I could have swore she was smiling at Lindsey, but only for a moment. She snapped her head back at me and growled," Well, Mr. Morrow, You lost it already? Detention!". I groaned to myself. Amanda was going to kill me. Next to me, My best friend Joe snickered, " Yeah Mr. Morrow, Detention!".
