In a bathtub with a rubber duckie.
Four grand old clocks chime twelve without respite.
A rubber duck drifts on the bathtub lake.
You splash amidst the foamy suds of white
and no one else, but you, is still awake.

A rubber duck drifts on the bathtub lake,
a little shaky from a man-made breeze;
and no one else, but you, is still awake
to hear your unexpected high-pitched sneeze.

A little shaky from a man-made breeze,
your tariffed Saigon slip sways in the air.
To hear your unexpected high-pitched sneeze,
you know that you need a sip of brandy.

Your tariffed Saigon slip sways in the air,
as you reach over to close the door.
You know that you need a sip of brandy,
because your throat is feeling somewhat sore.

As you reach over to close the door,
you pause to give a loud and raspy cough,
because your throat is feeling somewhat sore.
The feeling in your head is slightly off.

You pause to give a loud and raspy cough,
always making sure not to let it spread.
The feeling in your head is slightly off.
probably because you had a bit too much.

Always making sure not to let it spread,
you splash amidst the foamy suds of white,
probably because you had a bit too much.
Four grand old clocks chime twelve without respite.
