The Shoebox

Hello again old friends!

Three years ago, I posted a song lyric on this site entitled "The Shoebox", as well as the story behind the song. This story ended up catching the attention of a production company (Two Meter Films) from Washington, D.C., and a movie has been filmed about how it came to life.

I want to thank all of the members of Writing.com for their input regarding this song and also let them know (those who remember, anyway) that this little lyric is taking screen form. How far will it go? I have no idea. But, it has already gone farther than I could have ever imagined.

Thanks again to all of you who took the time to comment on this lyric and give us the confidence to push it into deeper waters!!

When you hear about the movie, "The Shoebox," you can say you knew about it before most everybody else.
